Another rainy day in Chinatown. I decided to just take my 50mm f/1.8 with me and it always makes me to think about photos, here are 3 I liked most :)

Dry umbrellas

    These are great!
I like all of them! I especially like the one foot on the red floor, great! You tend to see things the way I do. Love the umbrellas too. I have Chinatown on my list but may wait till mid-week some day. Parking is a problem and I can't walk far or stand for a long time so public transit is out. But I'll get there on a "good" day.

Very nice use of color and space. I envy your eye for composition.

Was the foot on the red cement walking or was it placed there by you? It doesn't look like it is one of a pair, but like one with the other held up in the air maybe?? Addendum: Now I see the pant leg in the upper right corner - duh mwink.gif

    All very nice shots!

I love the composition and color of them. Especially the

Dee, good to hear from you. I always park in either St.Mary's Square garage or the Sutter-Stockton garage, does not cost me TOO much (on weekends at least) !

    Thanks

yelrotflmao.gifNo, it was there. Actually, my wife was shopping in a store nearby. In chinatown, you have the shops and the homes of the shopowners above them. I was sitting in a small entrance to their home :) [some call it squatting]. The floor was very inviting to photograph, so I focused and waited, I think I clicked about 20 photos and waited for the brown shoe :)
