Hi Warren, and welcome to dgrin wave.gif

When you link to a photo, make sure you link to your online photo, you can not link to a photo on you local computer.

It's all explained pretty well in this post. Make sure you read it thoroughly, if you have any specific questions, I am more than happy to help you out.

    wave.gif you're doing fine. wave.gif

Does anyone know if Blogger allows external posting? I started my first thread with three pics I have on my blog and I could see them in dgrin (probably because of cache?). Now here's the weird part, some dgrinners could see them, some couldn't - why would that be?

I understand how to upload via attatchment (but don't like it) but I really don't want to do that because of the nasty limits. Any thoughts?

Here is the thread with three piccs in it that only some can see:

    Hi Dan,

Pleas check the GALLERY SETTINGS from the gallery you are linking from, to be sure that external links are enabled. We can't see your photos until you allow that :)

If you look at what you pasted between the brackets, you'll see it has URL at the beginning and end. Remove those, and it will work perfectly. It's not a valid file, it must end in .jpg...

ALso some sites block "external links" and so while you may be able to see it, because it's in your browser's cache, we won't be able to see it.

    Question
i can't seem to get this to work.

i hit the image box and paste in this... http://samswartz.smugmug.com/gallery/2959128#181662443-L-LB
    2959128#181662443-L-LB
And it gives me the broken link picture. What might i be doing wrong? I do have my gallery set up to allow me to allow external links.

If there's any one out there that sees this i'd appreciate the help!!!
