Yes they have. You can see the graphs with the stats as they were, if you click on any graph to get gallery stats (or go via gallery stats), only pics which have been viewed since the changeover are shown.

Actually, I click on one of the pics to bring up the large and I see the thumbs on _that_... I'm unsure if this is by design...

    Cheers - N

You mean with the changeover SM has given a basic user 10^6 times more space?

One thing I didn't notice when looking at the beta was the commenting facility. I think this is a HUUUGE improvement over the old system as folks often commented on a gallery rather than on a pic clap.gifthumbclap.gif

I like the new thumbs, but I don't see any of the other features described here: http://jcp.smugmug.com/help/speed-beauty.mg

I was viewing large photos in a full sized browser. Has these extra features not been implemented yet?

Thanks David for your answer. Yes, I am using the single or filmstrip style. Pity they don't work fully in these other styles. Is this permanent? What is the reason.

Again, many thanks. The thumbs and the new "buying" flippy looks great :O)

    Hey JCP,

Since I don't work for SM I can't really comment on what they intend to do for future releases...as i simply don't know. Hopefully someone from SM might chime in with an answer.

    Hey jcp,

We definitely want to apply these same techniques to the other styles. But we had to start somewhere. :)

Keep your eyes peeled to the blogs & forums for more news when we get closer.

    Hi jcp,

We'll get to the other styles at some point - we hope - but for now, enjoy the new ajaxy goodness. BTW, single image (via Lightbox) is reached by the photoBar. Try it!

Is the "one petabyte" possibly in place (temporarily) due to the January 2007 + January 2006 stats goof?
