My wife had a conference to attend in San Diego.
I thought I'd tag along and do take some photos while she was doing her thing.
The week before we were to leave, my cameras, lens, bags, laptop,... all were stolen.
I had good insurance and with the promise I was covered, I plunked down the plastic and got a body, a couple of lens, and headed to California.

I saw that you a nice picture of my old school library! I spent many, many hours in the basement there!
I do have a question about one of your photos... What is the thrid shot that you posted? It looks like the hotel del, but I can't really tell what it is or where you even took it.
It is the Hotel Del Coronado. It was taken from the patio of a first floor room, facing the parking lot, (the second worst room in the hotel; which isn't bad) in their "Tower."
The UCSD campus is beautiful. The library is just stunning.
