Hello folks,

Just wondering who's in Florida..and how's it going? Hope everyone is o.k. Had bad storms roll through last night and this A.M. Heard 14 killed up Norht of Orlando by a tornado??

If you are down here, how about an update. How's it going? How's the weather.

It's crappy here (venice area). We had a T-storm roll through and a ton of rain. No sun ..clouds, gray..cruddy weather . Looks like it will be here a while. West coast looks like we might get more rain. 40-50% chance the next couple/few days (depending on who you listen to.)

Keep dry and hoping for dry sunny weather. :thumb

This area is fine. The weather report shows 50% rain for tomorrow and Sunday

: and then improving from Monday on. Monday shows a few showers and a 30% chance of rain and then from Tuesday on its looks excellent except for Friday when there's a chance for showers.

Glad to hear it Harry. Hope it holds and we get some sun. I'm going to have to have a word with Mother Nature.

This isn't what we asked for. Where is this "sunshine state" weather? Sunshine state my arse.

I think all those Northerners brought this bad weather down with them.

Hello from Tampa! Some storms last night, but everything went pretty well east of here.

I looks like a line of storms will come through part of the weekend. One thing I learned down here is that scattered showers means just that. It's going to rain, but for a small amount of time. In the North, scatterd showers ment all day rain.

I have been down here a year and have yet to see it rain all day. In Cleveland, I used to see it rain several days in a row, all day hard rain.

It's raining here (Venice/Sarasota) again tonight. Never saw a hint of the sun today. Wasn't too cold..but very damp and rainy at times. Still lots of standing water in the yard/roads. Hpe it's better tomorrow. Might head up to Ft. Desoto..or down to Ft. Myers?

We'll try and out run the bad weather if we can.

We've got some rather sophisticated and wealthy birds over here Jim.

Lots of storminess where I am, but no tornadoes thankfully. Hopefully I haven't jinxed Orange County. A girl I work with lost her home last night to one.

I'll see what I can do. Kevin arrived late this evening. We plan on hitting the local hot spots tomorrow if weather permits. Might have to take him to the osprey nests and bird islands . 40% chance of rain tomorrow they say. Crapola.

I'm sitting at the airport right now waiting for my flight to flroida. Figures the only freaking electrical port for me to jack into is right under a vent that is spouting out cold freaking air. I can't wait to get out of michigan. Argh.
