:clap:clap Just received - I DONT NEED IT! Brand New In the box with warranty card and manual! The lens has never been put on a camera - heck - the lens has never been out of the box!!!! This is a real good deal!:deal

    Andy, when you get it, would you look at, or remember if, that lens, my favorite, has macro incorporated.

    I am not going to admit that I don't have the info that came with it, and my husband swears it has macro. I know we are going to spend hours trying to get it to work, so it would help if I knew ahead of time if it even has macro. It says macro......

    Sam, thanks! I've been using my 28-135 IS for a year now, and forgot that it had macro focus capability....

    This is misleading.

    I have the lens right here and almost jumped as I thought I had been missing something. There is no "extra" macro focusing range (like some Sigma lenses have, where you lock it in the longest zoom length and then get an extra range of focus). As a matter of fact, there is no need to switch it to MF, it will autofocus down to the closest point itself (in a fairly well lit place). Probably makes macro work easier to lock it in with w/MF but not necessary.
