Tracking Customers

Hey there, fellow Dgrinners!

How do any of you go abouts tracking your customers? I don't mean traffic to your website, but, once you have a customer or at least a prospective customer, do you keep spreadsheets or something like that?

    spreadsheet to track jobs, with the client list

    microsoft access document to track email, phone #, address, etc

    always keep accurate records!!!

    I agree with JDub - I basically use Microsoft Excel to keep track of both
    present and pontential customers. I have seen several software applications that provide the ability to track name and address information and comments/dates. The same functionality can be done with Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Access. Must computers come with Microsoft Excel loaded - therefore, free is good.
