Train To Nowhere....

Hi folks,

I've taken photos of this old train before,
I like this one, even with the distortion caused by using a wide angle lens.
The train has so much character, though it sits alone, rusting away on the track.

Hand held shot, Canon 20D + Canon 10-22mm Lens.

Enjoy........ Skippy :D

It's a real field of exploration that train,
the problem is you don't get a good clear shot at it,
because of where it is, and the vegetation around it.

Thanks for looking :D .... Skippy

Love the subject matter in this shot. I'd be interested to see it in some later light--seems like you might even be able to get a cool, eery shot with a moody sky.
It's all ball bearings these days...

Cool train, Skippy. Definitely works for me. I think sometimes you have to embrace the distortion. I've been thinking about getting one of those 10-22s.
