  My appreciation of this photo was a bit of a process. It grabbed me immediately but the feeling was something akin to "I like this, but there's something not right." I sat and looked at it for a bit more, went and grabbed a fresh beer (don't worry, I'm still sober and typing straight), came back and looked some more. Then I pictured myself standing in the image. That was it.

  Very nice. I think I'd crop the lower left a bit tighter to pull that rock into the corner and lose a bit of the dull grass on the left edge. I might also dodge that rock a touch to brighten it up.

  While I'd normally agree on the crooked horizon, I think here it actually adds some tension to the image. I agree on the crop mentioned above. A stunning image, please post more.
