    Tic Tac is a perfectly reasonable sound for a clock to make in most parts of the world, but it happens to be a brand name for a particular type of breath mint and is properly written Tic Tac (TM). As a result all U.S. clocks that actually go Tic Tac have been recalled and destroyed for trademark infringement.
