    Hey, just on the first one, too much pp/smoothing/etc. It looks more like a figure in a wax museum than a self portrait, otherwise it's a nice photograph.

    The second one looks okay, except for the blown out highlights on your forehead :P

    I really like the expression on the first one, just dial back the pp a bit for my taste. The 2nd looks kind of blue/green to me.

    I love the expression, but the plane of focus seems nearer to your ear than your eyes.

    The second image looks blue to me also.

    The first image you did too much blurring on the skin. Males in general benefit from texture in the skin, the grittier the better IMO. Second image looks like it had some cross processing done to it. Aside from the blown highlights the pictures are pretty well done, nice expressions and all.

    thanks all for putting in your comments, a noob like me will greatly learn from it. and yeah some cross proccesing has indeed been done to the second image, just ajusted the colors a little bit to suite my tast. :)

    yeah i was thinking about it, but having ZERO experience whatsoever shooting models/ photoshoots made me quite wary of it... need to meet somebody here and just tag along.. haha.

    Have you ever heard of Manuel Librodo? He's a great filipino portrait photographer.....
