Screen unstable in IE 6

I couldn't immediately find a reference to this problem, although I assume it must have been dealt with before.

My wife is using usually working on the following site of her school, and it is on this site she shas the problem ( I am taking care of the more technical aspects of this site):
http://dekleinewijzer.smugmug.com/

She was using IE 6 and experienced a problem that the position of the images and the menus on screen were not stable, and she says this problem started a few months ago.
It is predictable on her PC when I am in a screen with a pre-nr-next choice and I move my mouse to the "next". At the moment the thumbnail of the next picture appears, it moves all other items on the screen, not just the picture.
I could not replicate the problem on my other PCs connecting to the same website.
Nor could I see the same behaviour on her PC on my smugmug site.
I tried deleting temporary files, history and a selective set of cookies with smugmug in their name. It didn't change behaviour.
Long time ago, I entered code in the style sheet to fix the "moving lightbox" in IE and that code is still in.
Then I downloaded IE 7 and the problem disappeared.

Now, my wife is saying that the same problem exists with other PCs they have in their school.
Any simple advise we can give to all people having this problem? Downloading IE 7 may not be a good solution for all visitors.

Thanks in advance,

Jos

    Hi Jos <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/wave.gif&quot; border="0" alt="" >,

    I'm not sure if I completely understand your problem, but there are a few problems with the code in the header.

    Please remove
    <head>
    <title>Untitled-1</title>
    ****** http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    </head>
    <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">

    If it's a problem that only occurs on her machine (I don't have IE6 with me currently) it may also be something non-custom-code related. Maybe she has a plugin installed?

    Thanks for your suggestion! I will give it a try, but my wife will have to check on the PCs in school, since the problem is not on her PC anymore since using IE 7.
    Regards,
    Jos
