    Depending on what it is less than $100. Can't afford CF right now.

    What is the tallest it extends to? I see that most are 63" or 67". I'd really like something taller as I am 6'6".

    FYI re monopod
    FYI. Went to local proshop to test drive monopods with a strick limit of $100. Didn't work. Once I got my hands on the Manfrotto 685B there was no going back. Budget buster!

    So you bought one?

    Sorry I flaked on this - got totally sidetracked last week. If you're still interested, mine is a Manfrotto 680B w/3229 tilt/swivel head.

    I've decided to keep it. Just looked up the price: $80 for this combo new from B&H, so not really much gain by selling.
