Where can I find the topic for the next contest? (no. 6?) I've browsed many threads but can't seem to find it.

    Yes, I saw that but could not find what the subject was to be. Should I assume that it will be announced on Monday the 28th?

    Yes. This has been the norm since the onset of the LPS contest - topics are not announced in advance.

    Yes, the theme/subject is announced at the start of each individual contest.

    It will read something like this: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=60207. That link is for the entry thread for LPS #5.

    I believe that they post the announcement shortly after midnight NYC time, so if you live on the west coast you'll get an earlier start on it than those of us on the east coast because we'll all be in bed.
