Took my son out yesterday for some more training on his quad and to get some more use out of the 50-200.

I set up a cone course in a flood basin and let him go at it while a get some shots from above.

Ascending a small hill

Descending a larger one (he was scared)

In the flat track and corners he is pretty good!

Confidence grew and just before nightfall we attempted jumping again

For some reason the photos aren't showing. I can right click and get their properties to find their location on your page and view them there but that's tedious, sorry. Once I do that and they are in my browser's cache if I refresh the page they show, but only until I clear the cache. This has happened occasionally to other photos on DGrin, I have no idea why. Is there some setting on SmugMug that would cause this behaviour?

Nice shots of a great day, by the way. It looks like he was having fun!

That's weird they show fine for me qwhether I am logged in or not. I know there was a problem earlier with the search function- maybe there was one with galleries as well.

Yes he was indeed having fun. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Aaron they are in your cache so you will see them. Maybe just check your settings in smugmug.

I see his fear was short lived

Kids are funny when it comes to being a Dare Devil,
they might be afraid at first but in the end its the parents who are afraid

I like Images #3 - #4 - #5 .... I'm sure as he gets more confident you will get some great actions shots with him
