Nest in the attick

We cleaned out our attick space yesterday and I noticed that the idiot that installed a lamp there 2 weeks ago left the window open. Some bird has nested there now... Today I went back and shot this.

    Is that the nest in the corner on the left ???
    Looks like its got 4 eggs in it, or is that something else ???

    Any ideas on how to improve this? I'm thinking of sending it in for a monthly challenge "around the house" on the other one of my 2 favorite photo forums :D
