My highlights package

well I have finally finished uploading all my pictures from my year in Europe and I'm in the process of now going through and picking out the ones I like and think are alright to put in a highlights album.

I'm interested to get peoples feedback on these images, if for no other reason than to see if anyone else thinks they are cool too (but I also wouldn't mind constructive critique that might benefit my future picture taking as well :D)

my highlights gallery can be found at http://photosbycolin.smugmug.com/gallery/391039, all pictures were taken with my old olympus point and shoot (no idea what the model was) all are scanned from film negatives by the people at the kodak shop.

so if you've got the time and inclination I'd be grateful for any feedback.

    I dunno whether it's the original film, or the scan, but a lot of your shots have a unique texture to them.

    I hope you don't mind if I link to a couple that I really enjoy.

    I think you've already posted this one. The lighting and mood are magical.

    The wide angle and clouds are great in this shot. I suspect it also proves how much more range film has than digital.

    I'm glad you liked some of them wxwax, I am trying to track down the original prints of these, just to see how much difference there is between those and these scans (if any) texture and colour wise.

    I am curious about your last comment (in a very newbie kind of way I spose :uhoh), are you suggesting that there is an aspect of a shot like the last one you posted that could not be taken digitally ?
