Herons and Hummingbirds and other stuff

I am trying out a Sigma 70-200 mm a friend let me use. Not all are with the lens, but the majority are as I was testing to compare with my 18-200 VR.

A juvenile Black-Crowned Night Heron I believe.

Number 4 is my favorite as well! Seems as that sigma is a nice lens!

The BCNH was fun to watch as it dismantled the crab. I have pics of it grabbing the claws with it's beak and then shaking it's head, which would break off the claws. As you see, it would then toss the crab in the air and catch it, which I imagine softens up the shell.
