Just joined a meetup.com photographer group. My second meetup was at the Rocky Mountain Balloon Festival. I was able to get over a 100 other nice photos. What do you Think.

I was attempting to include reference in the photos Not just sky and balloons. #1

#3 This was a single person balloon craft, Cloud hopper.

#4 Again attempting to include reference in the photos Not just sky and balloons. 187797984-L-5.jpg

#5 The event called "The Glow" is done just before and after sunset. If you ever have a chance to go do it, it was very cool.

#6 In side the Diamond Field.

At this event you were able to walk in the balloons as they fill and lift off. Boy could you get some cool photos in with the balloons.

The day was very still the wind was genital almost no wind at all. The balloons were able to stay at the launch site for a long time. The photo below was taken 40 min after lift off.

I like the view on #7

#11 remindse me of a pain in the butt puzzle i did once.

I've always wanted to try shooting air balloons but have never had the chance to.

Daniel I have one word for you ......... WOW clap.gif
Those would have to be the nicest Ballon Shots I have ever seen posted.

I have attended just one of these events and it was truely amazing,
only the weather was truely unkind ne_nau.gif

I'm hoping Mildura get to host this same even next year,
and if they do, one of the young Scientists I work with wants to go up there and shoot the event with me :D

Excellent Series Daniel ...... Skippy :D

I really got lucky to be right at this balloon when the older man was showing the kid what was wrong with the top vent flap. I only wish I could get inside one of the balloons, just seems like a cool place to be. I think it is rare that a person walks on the fabric of a balloon it could be expensive to fix a hole. I was told that the person that works on a balloon has to be certified by the FAA then it has to be inspected$$$.
