Special thanx to Tim Kirkwood for helping me on this one!! :thumb

My Dad let me borrow His copy to scan as there is only 2 of these pics and the one is small and poor shape.

It was on cardboard stock and had a texture to it.
Tim fixed that part and I used the healing brush to do the final prep on it.
I left it in septa cuz it adds to the pic.

Grandma was quite a looker even under today's standards!!
Grandpa was a lucky Guy! :D
(This was my Mom's Mom)

My Dad says He thinks it's from around 1936.

    Progress of this pic
Here is the original scan with texture.

    EleanorSchellerGraduationA-vi.jpg

Here is Tim's texture fix. But if you LOOK CLOSE you can see what looks like melt marks.
(Shows up more in 8x10 blow up) Left side of head in BG and next to cheeks at bottom of hair on each side.
I fixed this with the healing brush.
Just a product of smoothing the texture.

    I love these old pics.

I scanned over 500 back at my parent's house a couple of summer's ago.

    Here's one of my grandma:

    Wow David!
When does that date back to? I'd say mid to early 1920's?

    Yeah, that'd be about right.

If you want to browse the gallery (it's large) PM me and I'll send you the password.

Also, I'd love to see more of yours. I started a thread a while back for scanned pics like this. Not sure where it went, I could probably dig it up if pressed...
