My site is suddenly down as of a couple minutes ago. Could not be WORSE timing as I had a bunch of work to do on my site today. WTF?

Down for me as well. AGAIN!

I still have a few months left on my SM account but after a number of major and minor outages I have given up on SM to actually fix this recurring problem so I have started using another service. After a few months of testing in the real world I will let everyone here know if it has the number of problems that SM does.

I'm very sad. I didn't necessarily spend a lot of time on it until very recently, but I have always had our smugmug as one of my tabs. Never had any problems with down time. This weekend, I finally got to work in order to personalize our smugmug to act as our home page and main site. I cancelled the hosting and redirected our address. Just go figure they would go down now!:cry

Every site I've ever used has some downtime ne_nau.gif . I definitely would consider SmugMug's track record in this regard quite good (>99% uptime) .

I'm sorry you feel otherwise, and I hope you're able to find site that stays up 100% of the time.

Sorry, no ETA. With an unscheduled outage, please know we're working just as hard and fast as we can to get things back on track.

When it comes to computers and the web NOTHING is 100%!
Electronics fail.....programs screw up....not to mention the idiots out there that deliberatley screw things up.
Been quite awhile since SM has screwed up on me here on the East Coast.
Just have patience...don't let a glitch chase ya away...SM is probably THE best site on the web for photo storage....let the experts do their job and things will be back to normal.
