Japanese Maple

A Japanese Maple from a visit to the Portland, OR Japanese Garden today. Funny thing, I awoke to a perfectly overcast, darkish and crisp day and I thought to myself "perfect for shooting Fall colors!" Made it to the Japanese Garden and just as I got there, the clouds broke and... well, bright sunshine in the middle of the day. I should have gotten there much earlier. The garden was packed with many other photographers, and tourists, so taking shots was a game of pick a spot, wait, wait, wait... This is the first attempt at playing with this image some. I have others awaiting prep. I'll post more later. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated:

I screwed up the leaves in PP, I'll try to do better for the next batch.

Gorgeous! I still haven't been to those gardens. This weekend would have been a great time to go! I look forward to seeing more shots!

These trees are so gorgeous with their twisted trunks. Nice job capturing it. :):

Lovely capture. And I like the square format.

Only one comment -- "watch your corners." In the lower left there's a rock or something which is dark and creates a triangle in the corner. In general, unless you really INTEND to put something there, often you want to re-compose or crop tighter.
