Spot exposure metering with shadow or highlight control? I think that is a first.

Built-in IS. Live view.

If the "official" specs are the same, it does look interesting.

Did I miss the Olympus E-2 rollout?

It may be premature, but hopefully it won't have the quirks of the E1... at least for the 4/3 crowd's sake. Good for competition

Totally redesigned auto focus system(to work while using live view), redesigned 100% viewfinder, all-time live view, articulating screen, in-camera IS, 5 frames per second, 11 af points, weather sealed, 10.1 mp, new wireless flash capability, and the list goes on...

So basically a 4/3's body with weather sealing like a 1D, but a feature set somewhere in between a 30D and 40D.

... with weather sealing like the Olympus E-1, and a feature set that compares well to other modern dSLRs. (No need to compare just to Canon offerings.)

I still caution that folks may be better off to wait for the formal reviews against a production camera before making final decisions.
