Got it. Problem is, the cameras' limited dynamic range makes it difficult to shoot in high contrast situations. I do a lot of shooting after dark, and I'm now in the habit, when possible, of taking a wide range of exposures, so I can do the digital blending thing and balance out the very bright and the very dark.

Hey everyone I'm back. Nice sunrise Humy looks like it's gonna be a hot one. Lovely colors.

I drugged my new computer home with me from Seattle in a suitcase. 200gb hard drive... high speed everything... 1gb RAM...new Asus graphics card...WinXP prof...new direct cd/dvd burner...and on and on......clap.gifclap.gif

    Ask me if I'm happy.

Son of Lynnma and Lynnma built this gorgeous thing in his living room.. when we plugged in old poopy hard drive to extract data it STARTED SMOKING!!!!!!
Computer shut it'self down and for a moment or two we were convinced we'd fried the thing buts she's fine again now.. old hard drive is lying out in rain in yard in Seattle for punishment. May it rust in peace.
I have a lot of catching up to do I see... I shall start now..
    Lynn

Lyn what is that below the 1.44 drive ? A front usb ? If it is its about time. Those little 'highlighter pen' (my term) drives look like the best idea for a long time.

:yikes Oh my God.. it's BEEYOOTIFUL! I'm so jealous, I'm just green with envy.. The monitor counts, yes'm it does. I am in love with my LCD TFT, I think it's the shiznit.. (still need to use that Gimp calibration tool.. though I have some questions regarding calibration, but another thread).

The beautiful tower, it glows bluely, doesn't it? I bet you could partition that drive, mm hmm.. get a linux distro on one part, your Winders on the other, and a shared, and it could SO take it! I love it.

I also c&c code so i have some cool renders of machines i would like to build. Dual Processors and things. Still just in my dreams. Just started running dual desktops. Its nice when i'm working with photoshop cuz i can pull up "my computer" on one monitor without ever closing photoshop. Its also really nice when you are doing tutorials on stuff cuz you can use the program at the same time. i'm running a samsung 19" flat panel along with a offbrand 17" flatpanel. i'll post pics when i get back.

Don't talk to me about tower infatuation... look to your monitor obsession, at least my tower has pretty blue lights and talks to me... what does your monitor do other than just sit there and gaze at you....yelrotflmao.gif
