I bought myself an early birthday present the IS model of this lens, since I shoot lots of indoors stuff no mono pod, ( and im getting older) since it finally arrived and seems to be a good one, my favorite workhorse lens is up for sale, One owner ,ME, purchased new from BH usa model. always had a lens filter on it. Sharp and fast. photos here

Includes lens, soft case. original boxes lens caps and hood ( hood has minor scuffs on it)

    for those that inquired, I will sell the package: 70-200 f2.8 lens and 30D for $1700.00 , that includes paypal fees. (will reduce price for money order) and will figure insured UPS shipping to zipcode provided.

    I might be interested. If this doesnt sell quickly I'll be very interested. I currently have a 70-200 f/4.0L that I'd like to upgrade to the f/2.8L. If I can get the f/4.0 sold then I'd pick this up.

    Lens Help
    I'm a new dgrin user. I may be posting in the wrong place...while surfing the info (which I might add, has been quite helpful) I recently purchased the Canon 40D. I take a lot of sports action pictures (high school football) and need a really good lens for low light as well as action. Could any of you recommend a lens? I also take a lot of wildlife pictures and want a lens that I could use in both situations. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Yep wrong place- but as long as you're here you might take a look at the lens listed in this thread- it's made for what you want to do.

    And it's a really good price too!
