Hello all,
has anybody have any experience with 1wayphoto.com ? http://1wayphoto.com
they have a great deal on the canon 40d with different lens options.
I'm clueless as to what to buy and what lens to go with.
any help would be appericated.

Never heard of them, but resellerratings.com has some very bad reviews. Sounds like just another bait and switch outfit. Stay clear.
As usual the "great" price comes from a store that has an abysmal rating from its customers. Amazingly enough its located in Brooklyn.
There are so many reputable sources, i.e. B&H, Adorama, Ritz, etc, etc, to go to. If you ever find someone offering a "great" price that's so much beter than the reputable stores its a rip off.

The 70-200mm f/4L IS lens is an excellent and relatively light weight lens that is easily hand-held (I have arthritis in my hands and manage the 70-200mm f/4L very well). This lens, or the very-good Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS lens can easily be used without a tripod/monopod support and would free you up to carry an extra body and lens. I am guessing that the image quality of the 70-200mm f/4L lens would allow you to crop your photos and emerge with a better quality image than your 75-300mm lens presently gives you.
Pairing either of these great IS tele zooms with an equally good mid-range zoom of 24-28mm to 70-75mm should give you the focal lengths that you need. The Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L is a great example of a mid-range zoom. It is however fairly expensive and heavy. Companies like Tamron, Tokina and Sigma produce lenses in these focal lengths that are less expensive, yet produce very good imagery.
Carrying two cameras on an OPTECH Reporter Strap is an excellent solution. The OPTECH Reporter will allow you to use two cameras without the twists and tangles that a pair of individual camera straps would entail. The neoprene material of the strap also makes carrying the load of two cameras a lot more pleasant.
A final option that would be an excellent tandem with the 70-200mm f/4L IS lens and the relatively new 17-55mm f/2.8 IS lens. This lens produces top-notch imagery and is lighter in weight than the 24-70mm f/2.8L and a bit less expensive at this time (I just paid $929 after instant rebate).
I don't think that you could get a pair of lenses that would give you better IQ than the 70-200mm f/4L IS paired with the 17-55mm f/2.8 IS. This pair would not only suit you for your horse photography but, would be excellent for just about any other type of shooting. I would not fret at all about the gap between 55 and 70mm.
Regarding where to buy a lens... B&H and Adorama are great suppliers. I have also had excellent results ordering from 17th Street Photo in New York City. I have purchased a 350D, 12-24mm f/4 Tokina, and a pair of 70-200mm f/4L lenses (first was non-IS and then an IS model) from 17photo.com. I have always been pleased with their shipping and with their prices and have just ordered a 17-55mm f/2.8 IS lens from them.. I also like their personalized customer service.

Not a bad idea. I have purchased only one item online - my Tokina lens came from B+H in NY. The reason is that there is no Tokina distributor in Canada (or wasn't then).
My experience with B+H was total satisfaction. If my local dealer can't get something I want, I will head to B+H again.
