I would like to get horses reflected in a rain puddle.

    Nice photo, Angelo! Good day?

Ya know, I was thinking about rain puddles earlier myself. With the storms we've had here over the past week you'd think there'd be plenty, right? Hah! Everything is bone dry.

Glad I captured these two guys on the street because photo-wise it was a bust of day otherwise. Nothing turned out nice. :cry Thanks for checking in G.

Nice capture Angelo thumb.gif You can see some pretty strange stuff walking around in Hollywood. It's kind of refreshing to see a horses passing by. Sort of a blast from the past in the heart of the Movie Capital of the World.

    Angelo,

I really like this image. There is alot of details and things to look at. I enjoyed spending several mins just looking at everything form the bridals to the rains.

And there hair is combed nicely:D thumb.gif .

    Great shot Angelo!

I like the contrasting colors of the two horses, as well as the "bling bling" wheels on the car in the background!

Cool picture Angelo. I noticed the "LAPD" on the horses bridle. Do you think they use horses because they can maneuver better in heavy traffic? That's Hollywood for ya!

It is sort of nice how they contrast each other, huh? Thanks. And now I'm glad I didn't blur out the background.

I'm not really sure why horses are used but they round out foot, bicycle and vehicle patrols in the city. Funny, the LAPD stables are 7 miles east of Hollywood and horses must be trailered in for patrol. Almost like stars in limosines. rolleyes1.gif

Yes Yuri. I tried to get a nice shot with the policemen also but I didn't like what I shot. The horses are far more handsome! :D

Although the officers were quite nice. I asked permission to photograph the horses (I was concerned my flash would bother them) and they were very accommodating. Knowing a little about horses and the police stables didn't hurt my chances either. mwink.gif
