I tell you its been years and years since I saw frost.
Guess being a shift worker makes it hard to see sunsets,
    sunrises and frost hu :D

Your first shot looks like a big green tongue nod.gif
    I love images #1 - #4 - #5 clap.gif

Thanks for sharing Brian.... excellent work .... Skippy :D

Frost the other face of water
The last one looks like its trying to sprout ice leaves! Very cool or should I push it and say COLD (I know really bad pun nut but made me laugh).

We don't get much frost down here in sunny Florida, it did snow back in 1978 but it did not stick to the ground. Thanks for sharing. MM

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

Wow! Lovely details here - although I'm sort of sad to discover that frost doesn't have hair sprouting out of the eyes like most of your subjects. :D

Actually seeing this set taught me just how much I rely on learning about the physical properties of the natural world when you post. clap.gif

Hairs do come into this. The ice formations in #1 and #3 are along the plant leaf hairs.

My favs are the last two. I had a pretty frost, and excellent light the other day--just did not have the time to go out and shoot. Hope I'll get another chance.
