    I'd cropp more of the base and maybe try to darken the statues a bit.

    I would crop out the base of the statue, straighten your horizontal line and caution against overexposure.

    I like the shot. I agree about cropping and straightening. But I think the overexposure is cool here. You might even try increasing the contrast to blow out the statues a little more, emphasizing some of the statue's shadows, and darkening the background. If that doesn't work, maybe try a mask to darken the background and make the statues stand out even more. I think the overexposure could work well in the end w/ a little tweeking in PS. The B&W definitely works here.
