Took this picture earlier in the year at West Wittering beach. Spent this afternoon playing with various setting on one of my graphics programs.

    I thought it was an abstract, but actually it's not.

    At first I didn't see the reflection in the water,
    had to look harder to see the pole is half a reflection of itself.

    Looks like an abstrct to me, and a pretty darn good one too. I'm not really sure what I'm looking at and that keeps me interested. The colors play well with each other. Could you post the original?

    The original picture is looking out to sea from West Wittering Beach towards the Isle of Wight, the pole is the end marker that marks the end of the groyne (there about 40 of groynes along the beach). The tide is about 200mtr towards the horizon. The picture was taken with a Fuji 9600 set on full auto and .jpg output earlier this year before I got my Canon 400D

    I used a program called showFoto (available on Linux only) and used the Solarize Filter followed by a bit of cropping.
