Price Drop

This works w/ the 40D as well. This is an aftermarket grip (Optika I believe) however, the quality is excellent and it is like new. Better yet, it allows you to do auto time lapse photography either via every X seconds or at a specific time it will shoot. I paid somewhere around $190 willing to sell it for $115 plus $10 to ship anywhere in the US. I will eat paypal if you choose to use that. Again, not a scratch on it, just some of my fingerprints. Holds two batteries or there is a 2AA battery holder included. I went to 1D equipment so I am getting rid of my 30D and this.

I am sorry I don't know the brand. When I bought it, the 40D wasn't out yet. However, if the Canon grip for the 30D works, then this will work as well. They all use the same battery. I think it is the BG-3E?

i only know of two (non canon) brands:

    Opteka and Adorama

and they sell for $70-130 from Amazon.com

It would help if you can find out your brand name.

Guys, I sure appreciate your helpfulness. However, I can't find a label. It didn't come from Adorama so it might be the other. As to the $70 to $130 price...you would be right if is was just the standard grip, but this has the built in timer you would spend $130 for as a separate item. By the way...it does work on a 40D as does the BG-E2.

You must have Smugmug account or any other picture storage serwer account.

You can post your photo as photo - not as link only :)
