I actually prefer #3 because of the sky and tree, but don't care for the foreground brightness or the brightness of the car trail. Something in between these two would be perfect.

    thanks all!

since i did those night shots on dec 8th i will need to do them again anyway if i want to enter them:D

its nice to know that the night exposure may be the route to go, (i was going to enter the statue of the little girl)

im very new to night photography so i will see what i can do to better the overexposure problem. i wanted long streaks from the car lights but it was too long of a shutter i guess.
anyway i read a lot last night and i have a new bag of tricks to try.heres one site that i found very neat
