Wonderful series. Would love to read a little background on this. Did she know you where there for the photos? Did you know in advance that the proposal was going to happen?

I love the 2nd-to-last & 3rd-to-last ones. The one w/ him kneeling is nice but I don't like the shadow on his face...to bad he wasn't turned.

It was my sister in-laws birthday and my wife, her sister (the girl in the pics), myself and Greg (the guy in the picture) and my other brother and sister in law all went to the beach for the day. I knew that he was planning on proposing on her birthday so I suggested that I take some pictures so we all just went on a little couples trip to the beach. We worked out a plan were he would go walk on the beach with her alone for a while and then after about 20 minutes I would find my way down there of course wiht my camera around my neck takign pictures of sea gulls and beachscapes. Then when I got near by he got down on his knee. It worked out pretty well and since I always have my camera around my neck it didn't raise any red flags. I think they turned out fairly well. The sun was intense but I think all in all I was happy and more importantly they were extatic with the pictures.

Those are my favorites as well. I know exactly what you mean about that one. I was a little bummed about that one myself (and the other 10 like it). A reflector would have done wonders for that shot but my 42 inch reflector is not exactly your typcial inconspicuous beach wear. I just hope that they enjoy them. Thank you for the coments.

I liked this one as well it was her turning around saying "hey Ryan I am gettign engaged too," and I was just thinking "if you knew I knew about this for 4 weeks you would probably kill me lol."
