Hi everyone, I just found this forum through SmugMug and joined, well, just minutes ago. I guess I'll jump in with both feet and see what happens. I've been avidly interested in photography since I was in the 8th grade but have only recently (over the past two years) really begun to tap into my repressed creativity :)

A shot I took on an unseasonably warm day back in December and just got around to editing today. Feedback is always welcome. As a matter of fact I thrive on it.

    welcome

Nice shot, the bright white on the one door is a little distracting, but the stone and leaves are nice, the angle is interesting.

    What do the letters spell?

I actually got the doors in it on purpose because it's the remnants of a long gone department store. The one door, with the white, is papered up from the inside and also has duct tape holding together cracks in the glass.

The letters in the walk are the name of the old store "Byck's".

    wave.gif Hiya moonie

If you're on smugmug, there's an easier way for you to post yer pics. No need to attach them.

    Check out this thread.

I like the colors on your shot.

Ahhh, thank you! I actually prefer this method because it's how I post pics to my journal. I didn't realize you could do it here too :)

    And thanks! Re: the colors.
