Trying to find a D80 to rent online...?

Has anyone had any luck renting this camera online recently? All I can seem to find nowadays is the D300 for rent.

I live in Boston and will be taking a trip out to Yosemite for two weeks and don't want/need to shell out for the D300.

I didn't find it at our rental sponsored vendors, but Adorama Rentals does seem to have the Nikon D80 available:

Yeah, but at $300 a week?!?!? Are people really paying that? That would be $600 for net's two-week trip. He could buy a new, refurbished-by-Nikon D80 for $674.95 from the same vendor...

Gee, if the going rate for D80 rentals is really that generous, maybe I ought to start renting out mine. It's not seeing much use since I got the D300. Net, ya wanna stop off in the Midwest on your way out to Yosemite? I might have a good deal for ya... ;-)

I saw the price and thought it a bit high. Then again, it's with a Nikon 18-70mm lens. The camera alone might be a bit less. Probably worth a phone call to find out.

http://borrowlenses.com has both a D70 and a D300 for rent and they seem a lot more reasonable.
    D70 $110 for 2 weeks
    D300 $270 for 2 weeks

    Hi Net,

If you still need a rental for a few weeks send me a PM. While we don't have any D80s I'm sure we could come up with something for a fellow New Englander. If you could make the endless snow come to an end I'd probably give you a new D300 :D.
