This one was for a photo challenge at SonyCams, subject 'unwanted'.

It took me 2 hours from thinking up my concept at 1am to uploading at three.
I haven't done any studio-type work since, and I think it may be because I'm not attached to anything as strongly as I was to this idea.
Inspiration indoors is hard for me, it seems.

BTW, a few weeks later I quit cigs cold turkey. 2.5 packs per day.
I can smell things now, and I'm not sure I like it.

Great shot, and as an ex-smoker, wait till you can't stand the smell of the things. Then you know your done.

Is that smoke in the glass, or a photo effect?

    Cool shot.

I quit 10 years ago and I remember I thought I turned into wolf boy because I was smelling everything.umph.gif

Congrats! Where did the smoke in the jar come from?

This shot was close, but still wasn't working for me until I blew some cigarette smoke into the jar.
I wish it would have been possible to use a lit cig, but when you cork the jar they go out and get ashes all over the glass.

Keith I love the concept!!!! And executed very well!

What I'm wondering though is whether you might have pierced the cork to leave the cigaret burning... Makes a person wonder :D

    Thanks for sharing!
