01/26 Hampton Roads Nighttime Wonderings

As a continuation of my last post, I ended up in Portsmouth along the seawall. The first couple of shots are on the Portsmouth side and the second couple are of the Norfolk side.

As I said, nothing earth shattering :D - just the rediscovery of how fun it is to shoot random stuff for no pressing reason. It was an enjoyable day! Thanks for looking...

    I don't know why but when I see Ships in the Night,
    I think....how romantic, even if they are not cruise ships for some reason.

    These all look a little fuzzy or soft in focus, but that might be because of how much you've compressed them to display on Dgrin.

    Thanks Skippy and Deuce for the comments. Skippy, you were right on about the softness on the city shots. D'oh! I composed, focused, locked focus to manual, and then moved the tripod over a couple of feet and forgot the focus was locked back to manual. I think I may give those another run this weekend.
