Awww, thanks. I realize I'm a day late and a dollar short. I just was surfing through the boards and saw that post and thought, "Hey! I can contribute to that one!" So I did!

    Missy,
Awww, thanks. I realize I'm a day late and a dollar short. I just was surfing through the boards and saw that post and thought, "Hey! I can contribute to that one!" So I did!

And I want to thank you for that!

Our assignments do not have the expiration date, so if you missed any one of them and happened to take a fresh picture that fits any one of them - go ahead and make a new entry! thumb.gif

Yet, of course, it's always more fun to participate in the ongoing one, so I would like to see what you can do with the different shutter speeds:-)
    Cheers!

I think this one is much better than the previous one. I wonder if you could encrease the f/stop, say, to f/11 or maybe even higher to get more DOF.
It looks like you had used a slash, so you should have plenty of light...
    Just a suggestion...ne_nau.gif

I'm always the first to admit that I often am not sure exactly what I'm doing-- so I will try this later when I have some time. I'm still one who is not completely comfortable fiddling with all them manual features, so sometimes changing little things intimidates me--- I'll definitly play w/ aperature later on this one and see if that helps out... and yeah I did use flash. As with most of my pics as of late, I've been having to do assignments at home after I get home from work since it's too late for the sun to peak out.

You learn something new every day Nikolai !!!!!
It is fairly uncommon to see a camels in Australia - there is a paddock full of camels at Redland Bay the next suburb to where I live - I often photograph them - they are very inquisitive.

I am not sure I am all that excited about either of these shots, but I think it completes the assignment.

    Actually, I like it. thumb.gif
I only think just a little bit more of the wheel would help, but it's only a minor thingie...

I think I got the mother of all chances to do an adidas-zoom :D

The place is the HUT campus, right next to the main building.

    306679028_Q3Hfg-L.jpg

    306680036_EYJWW-L.jpg

How about that location for a gull's nest :D
There's a walkway 6 feet away, this is gonna get intresting come hatching time...

Here's a bonus, taking the risk of getting bombarded let's you zoom through the bird.

    306680736_v7tpf-L-1.jpg

You'll have to excuse the slight jarring, didn't stay long... lol3.gif

    Do I pass? :D
    Creativity's hard.

    I like the approach/vision. Technically you're in.
However the 2d shot is plain boring. Bird is in a dead center, nothing is going on, lighing is flat... ne_nau.gif
