If I had to guess I would say it is a Savannah Sparrow.

    Very nice photo's.

Thanks Jd! A very good guess as it looks very similar to the Beldings Savannah Sparrow, but it is a Song Sparrow.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Some good shootin' Glenn. thumb.gif I'm reluctant to mention it...since nobody else did....and perhaps it's my eyes or monitor

...... but that last shot looks like it has a good bit of blue cast to it ?? headscratch.gifheadscratch.gifne_nau.gifeek7.gif Please don't tell me that bird is blue. rolleyes1.gif

Not your monitor there is a blue cast to the snowy. He was in shadow and significantly cooler than the reflective water. I decided to go with it instead of balancing it out. I liked the warm and cool contrast. Not everyone's thing I know! :D Had the snowy been in the sunlight he would have been gold!
