My attempt at shooting the eclipse last night. I had a clear sky but my longest lens is 85mm:cry . I still like the way it came out for how cold it was and how I had to lean half way out of my balcony to see the moon.

    Very nice.

I had a long lens, cold weather, a tripod, and then the clouds rolled in :(

    Very nicely done!

It was way too cold for me to do this...but I guess I'll have another chance in 2010! :)

I had all that, the clouds parted, and I blew the shots :(: I guess 2010 isn't that far away...

NICE. I was trying for this... snapping a shot every 3 minutes, but the clouds simply would not cooperate. I basically had to shoot through the holes.

    Excellent work :D

You did a terrific job with this one clap.gifclap.gif
How much time is there for this entire shot?
You were a brave sole to stay out in the cold to capture the time lapse series, but by the looks of the end result it was worth freezing your butt off for thumb.gif

Really Great Job .. Well Done! thumb.gif ... Skippy :D

oops...I am not sure if should have called it a time lapsene_nau.gif this is a series of shots from that night taken around 5-10 minutes apart while i ran outside to get away from American Idol. (fiance make me watch it, I make her pose for picturesdeal.gif ) Then I threw it all together in Photoshop CS3. Thanks for all the comments though.

btw...I cant wait for LPS to begin again. I only observed the last 4 or 5 rounds but I feel prepared to submit this round.

    Thanks!
