Weekly Assignment #70: Concentric

Welcome to weekly assignment #70. I have been given the honor of starting this one off and choosing a worthy theme to stimulate our minds.
Thanks must go to Nikolai for awarding me the opportunity. :D

Concentric
is defined as: objects that share the same center, axis or origin with one inside the other.
Circles, tubes, cylindrical shafts, disks, and spheres may be concentric. Concentric objects do not necessarily have the same radius.

Use you imagination on this one it is deceptively simple. Concentric does not have to be circles it can be other shapes as well.
Finding something ready made in nature is always a great place to start but if your still buried in snow or can not find something that fits
the theme in the great outdoors then constructing something concentric is acceptable.

I will let Nikolai add any rules or other necessary guidelines, but for the most part just follow the general ones in the sticky index.

My main thought is...
Just get out and shoot something or some things concentric!

Two essais of the same objects. The light is rather different... :D

I like the first one the best, although that may be because I am a sucker for slightly darker photos. I also like the angle and the reflection of the spoons more in the first photo.

Interesting... However I must say despite the cool PS work the theme is not well pronounced here... "Concentric" would be the last thing on my mind if I saw a giant eyeball on the corner of someboy's front lawn... Too much of a house, maybe? headscratch.gif

I must confess, it was sitting on a roll of black gaffers tape which I cloned out and then added a shadow. Lighting was a SB600 through an umbrella placed high and a bit to the right, with a reflector placed to the left.

Yeah, I know. I was just having fun. FYI, the eyeball is NOT photoshopped into the image. It's actually there in the backyard.
