Spent the weekend shooting NASCAR races at the Atlanta Motor Speedway (from the stands). This is my first time posting any shots here, so please be kind. Feedback welcome.

Shots were taken with a 30D and 70-200L (some with a 2x TC)

very nice, especially from the stands where distance, crowd and sight lines can't be controlled. I especially like #3, showing motion in so many ways. I was working infield security Sunday morning, but had to bug out before the race actually started; I'm glad another dgrinner was there and able to get such good shots.

Thanks guys. The sightlines on Saturday weren't bad because it was empty and I could move around a little. Sunday's shots (5-7) were all taken from the 50th row of the Champion's grandstand.

Dang those darn stinkin' fence posts! lol. Good job! I wonder if you have any shots of Carl's pit stall....you might have a picture of me...tee hee. Ever thought about spending the extra 100 bucks to get pit passes. I am not kidding they are worth every cent. That's how I started out and the experience was invaluable. Take a peek at my gallery if you like. It's kinda cool to see the progression of learning over the years....There is a huge difference from 2005 to 2008. Man, the fun I've had screwing up...lol.

    Do you have more?
