Here's a couple of quick test shots without any PP minus a crop on one taken with my new Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM. I want to get better at managing my DOF and welcome suggestions. C&C welcome.

Your really liking that new lens aren't you.
It was the first lens I ever brought :D

If your shooting with F stops that are fairly high your not going to get the lovely bokeh, try a shot using F2.8 or F4, then do the same shot again and use F11 or F16 you should be able to see quite a difference.... just play around with different F/Stops :D

    Your doing fine thumb.gif ... Skippy :D

Very nice. I prefer the lighting in #1 over the super bright sun in #2, just a personal observation.

    Thanks Skippy/Shannon,

This was all natrual lighting shot inside the green-house area of my local nursery. I'm going to get some nice flowers and bring them home for a more controlled environment and so I can have my laptop and get a really good view of each shot and what effects each F stop adjustment makes. I'll post again soon and thanks again.
