    Wow. Great series. I especially like the ibis and tri-colored heron at sunset!

    Thanks Nancy, I'm happy with the GBH shot because with all the shots I've taken of them very few have been satisfactory due to the crappy shooting conditions (light and obscurement).

    very cool --things are slow here ne_nau.gif but today I did see about 12 egrets --ssssoooooo maybe

    You can still post some of your egret/heron shots from the past. Its a celebration of all thing egret. Its not half the fun if you're only lurking.

    Things are slowing down here now too because its atng season and many of the locals are off to rookeries.

    Those 12 egrets are a sign that
    EGRET FEST is coming. Its like that ole song "The Twelve Egrets of Egret Fest". :ivar
