Hi - whilst visiting Lake Windermere in Cumbria, UK today, I came across a railway service being operated between the towns of Lakeside and Haverthwaite. The service is being run using historical trains. Website: www.lakesiderailway.co.uk refers.

Equipment: Nikon D50 + 18~200VR lens @20mm
Settings: Aperture f/5.6 shutter speed 1/100 ISO 200

Cheers - Herman

Very nice picture. I'd love to see some of the old steam engines. Not many of them left on this side of the pond.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Cool. It's nice to see these things still running instead of just rusting away. Good use of toning. thumb.gif

Nice picture Herman, giving toning the picture in that spehia(?) colour makes look like a picture taken in the trains hay day. You certainly have a thing for trains Herman.

    Nice picture

Looks nice in Sepa Herman, nice shot.

There's just something about old Steam Trains that appeals to people.
Mostly I think they bring back lots of old memories.

    Nice work Herman thumb.gif .... Skippy :D
