Sagbayan on Bohol Island
Sagbayan is a town we did not even notice and a couple of peaks side-by-side. The view on a clear day
stretches all the way to Cebu City which is as much as 65 kilometers away. There are amusement areas,
restaurant, etc on one peak and a viewing area on the other peak. There is also a butterfly dome. This is
a perfect place to have lunch, look at the view and have fun before driving on.
From Tubigon we motored through Clarin to Sagbayan
Resting after climbing halfway to peak.

The Chocolate Hills go all the way from the interior to the coast.
Down the road is the 'official' Chocolate Hills but the ones visible from Sagbayan are typical.
The rounded shape of ice cream scoops is amazing.
They are like burial mounds for some forgotten race.
While the tourists view from the air...
...a farmer works his carabao down below.
From the 2nd peak, the giant and the dwarf
Cebu is close enough to touch...
Kind of messy through the haze but heck 65k away!!
