Very interesting subjects. Have you done any post-processing on these photos? They all appear to be a little dark.

I really like the last photo taken at night.

You're right, the photos are a little dark. I have post processed them a little and wanted them to a little bit dark, but maybe they came out too dark?

Nice shots, a bit too dark for me in some, but nevertheless, they're great shots, especially no.1,4,10,13,15,16,18, and 21

maybe the brightness is higher on my monitor. I'll brighten a few of them up and repost them.

I agree, good stuff here. Pick yourself up a Huey or Spyder or some other hardware monitor calibration device. Then what you see will be what others (who have calibrated!) see.

I'd say your pictures deserve it! thumb.gif

I like them, I think the darkness gives them a certain feel, or theme if you will. I like it, really makes me LOOK at them.

Really fantastic subjects, but again way too dark for me. Great composition and very sharp!

Classy photography! I like them very much. I think the "grimy/sooty" PP suits many of them perfectly. It's a real-life dimension which otherwise the photo would not convey. Used on all, though, it becomes repetitious. The selective color is a nice variation. Would you describe the PP you have used, please?

I don't recognise where in China this is? I would guess north central? Tho, I think I see a banana tree, and mossy walls, so perhaps its far south coast?

I love China. Looking at your pics makes me nostalgic!

great composition on just about every shot. Just a touch dark on some photos. I also liked the gritty post processing.
