I'm still working to build a portfolio, so I talked these friends of mine into spending the morning with me shooting. We had a blast.

There are quite a few more from this shoot. But I haven't sprung for a Smug Mug account yet. CC welcome.

I'm really liking some of the angles and selective frames you've done here. Certainly gives it the pj style. I also like the processing but would mix it up a bit more on a few of them. The yellows are overtaking the close up shots of him individually and him and her together (7 & 8).

Time to ante up for a Smuggy account...want to see more of your work. :D

That is great advice! I knew there was something I didn't like about the processing, and your comment about the yellow cast puts a finger right on it.

In what other ways would you mix up the processing?

Great job! The couple looks very natural in every capture, and I like your PP work.

The Skinny on Smug Mug and client services

Ok everyone, give me the real deal on the benefits of Smug Mug in comparison to other similar service sites out there (I'd name them if I knew them).

I'm very excited to start building a client base, and I'm struggling to form a plan for how to service them after the shoot. I'm also trying to consider the best tools to market myself on the web. So tell me, why Smug Mug? And if Smug Mug which account level do you recommend?

    Pro site is awesome
Quick uploads - lots of room - you can sell prints directly without the hassle. I love my SM site.

I like most of these - but there are just too many tilted angled shots to show one couple in a portfolio. The posing for PJ is good. Just don't do SO many tilts. Variety is the spice of life.

Excuse me, but, my neck is needing adjustment now.

    These are great!

I love the angles, the natural feel and the black and whites. Very nice. :)
