Family Reunion

Being that my siblings are all grown and families of their own it is not very often that we can all get together. We almost achieved a complete reunion this past weekend- meeting up in Northern AZ. All but one family made it with one brother coming from Fort Smith Arkansas, one coming from Salt Lake City Utah, and the rest coming from Phoenix or Prescott AZ. Here are a few snap shots from the weekend

1. My mom with all but one of her grandkids. These shots are impossible

2. One of my brother's had custom shirts made: "Property of Mema" which is the name many of the kids call their grandma. Two Trevors- mine is one on the right with the mop top

3. One of the littlest ones

11. The only brother in law joining in a family tradition

Looks like a fun family reunion....

We used to have family reunions like that but they have slowly become less and less.

We haven't had one in a long long time. This was our attempt to make it an annual event.

Gosh your lil'guy is getting big!
Love 1(for the thought of grandma and all the kids, that's a hard one to coordinate for sure), 5, 6 and the last one, nuttin' better...:eat

That series brought a smile to my face - pinecone baseball? SMORES'??! Lots of laughter and fun, it looked like

my favorite is the picture of Mema with (almost) all of her wee ones. Her expression, their expressions

... but I will admit that I'm hatin' on you a bit right now, because it's nearing 2am in the morning and bad enough I can't sleep but now I have a Cake song stuck in my head on top of it all. Next time I'm skippin' your titles and just looking at the pics

Thanks Java-

Those little cabins are popping up everywhere now for inexpensive rentals. They had 3 reserved but I still slept outside in a tent- even with lows of 31 degrees.

Thanks Swartzy- it was a good time with lots of laughs.

My brother about ate it that crazy looking bike- I was too busy laughing I forgot to take pictures!

That song popped into my head when they were racing. It was stuck in my head for a while too!

Yeap- all but one grandson was there- him and his mom are in Sai Pan visiting her family.
