My bride wants crazy

here is an email I got from my bride this morning:

Well what I was thinking is having a formal shot, everyone lined up, kind of traditional. Then maybe have all of the bridal party group up and be kind of crazy...not disrespectful crazy cause we'll be in the church, but just fun. Does that make sense?

Show me a picture you have taken that you think would fit this bill.

What don't you understand about this e-mail? Pose them very traditional...and then the next image...have them pose crazy...like the bride pointing to the mother-in-law...the groom rolling his eyes...the ring boy picking his nose...just have fun with the shot.

Oh, i understand it. I just figured she is not the only one to have made this request and wanted to see some examples.

Just ask them to make some funny faces, or make them all jump! Those shots are usually very fun, UNFORTUNATELY it will depend on the wedding party how they will turn out. You might just get some funny looks when you ask them to do it, :bluduh ... just be a cheerleader

... sometimes it works out because the group is fun, sometime it doesn't and you feel like an idiot for asking ...

From my wedding this past weekend......I shot them in a progression.....Formal, to a bit more casual, to then a fun shot....

The guyz....(they were the most fun and willing....)

1. Formal

2. Casual

3. Fun

They guyz with the bride....

4. Formal

5. Casual (Gotta love his white socks.......

)

6. Fun - not much change from casual, but the bride got into the act.

Josh, here's the thread Jeff referenced (link). I was getting a bunch of very stiff photos, so I told them to take a breath, relax, and then kiss someone. The rest of the story can be read in the link above....
